Rezatec do not directly measure height using EO satellite data. The Tree Height data (from the Mensuration data product suite) is a modelled estimate of tree height using the combination of ground-reference training points for calibration, and correlations with the EO-derived inputs from both multi-spectral and radar sources, which interact with different aspects of the tree canopy directly correlated to tree growth, and height. Rezatec using machine-learning algorithms to train and build models which correlate measurable attributes from space, for example, measured canopy vigour and shading indices from multi-spectral data, and stem size / density from radar sensors.
