Seasonal strength is the degree to which the changes brought about by the seasons e.g. greater occurance of precipitation, has an effect on the data. 0 shows no seasonality, and 1 indicates strong seasonality. Applied to vegetation if there is very low seasonality, this may need some investigation on the ground as vegetation is expected to be seasonal.
